| Q: How do I find an Entertainmate? |
A: There are several ways to use this site to find an entertainmate.
- Use our Quick Search to find other site members that share your interests. You can narrow down your search by selecting males only, females only, or either. You can also
narrow your search to include people who live in a certain city, state, zip code or all three. It’s up to you.
- Use our Advanced Search to narrow your search even further. There are several options, so give it a try.
- Search the bulletin board and see if there's an ad that interests you.
- Post your own message on the bulletin board and wait for someone to reply.
- You must register with us and login if you want to post or reply to a bulletin, or send a MatesMail to another site member.

| Q: I forgot my Username/Password. What do I do? |
| A: If you've forgotten your username or password click here and fill in the e-mail address you input during registration. An e-mail will be sent to you containing your username and a temporary password. If you don't remember the e-mail address you input during registration, you will have to reregister.

| A: In order to change your username, you must login and select "My Registration Information" on the right side of your Personal Homepage. Click on "Update Your Registration Information", and change your username.

| A: In order to change your password, you must login and go to "My Registration Information" on the right side of your Personal Homepage. Click on "Update Your Registration Information". Select Click to Change Password, and change your password.

| Q: What is MatesMail? |
| A: MatesMail is Entertainmates.com's internal mail system. It allows you to communication with other site members without revealing any information that will identify you.

| A: If you want to send mail to another Entertainmates.com user, select SEND A MESSAGE from a Quick Search results page, select CREATE from an Advanced Search results page, or REPLY to a bulletin.

| Q: Can I send e-mail to or receive e-mail from outside e-mail systems? |
| A:No Matesmail is a closed system. You cannot use MatesMail to send e-mail outside of the Entertainmates web site, or receive e-mail from outside e-mail systems.

| Q: Why should I create a Profile? |
| A: Profiles provide a way for members of our site to find out a little bit about each other before they answer a bulletin or send a MatesMail. That way, there is a better chance that you will have things in common with anyone you choose to be your new entertainmate.

| Q: How do I create/change my Profile? |
| A: First you must login to our web site. Then go to Membership Section of your personal home page and select My Profile to view your present profile. Select Edit Your Profile to create or make changes to your profile.

| A: You can delete your profile by going to the Edit Your Profile and deleting any information input there. Don't forget to press submit.

| A: By selecting the activities that you are most interested in, other site users will be better able to find your profile. Also, it will make it easy for potential new friends to get to know a little bit about your interests.

| A: The Bulletin Board works just like a bulletin board you might find in the grocery store or at a library. It is a way to let other's know that you are looking for someone, from a fellow astronomer to someone else who is wild about zoology. You can search the bulletin board from the navigation bar, as well as from the various activity pages. Please click here to try it out.

| A: Go to Find an Entertainmate, pick a category and then search for the entertainmate you are looking for.

| Q: How do I delete my Bulletins from the Bulletin Board? |
| A: You must be logged in, then click on My Bulletins on the Navigation Bar. Select the bulletin you want to delete, and select the delete button.

| Q: How do I use the Quick Search feature? |
| A: First choose a category such as The Arts or Hobbie. Then choose an activity. Choose whether you want your new friend to be male, female or either. If you have a preference, choose which city, state, or zip you want your new friend to live in.

| A: Perhaps you've narrowed your search too much. Search by gender and leave the city, state, and zip blank and see if you get better results. Once you've made your choices, click go.

| A: The Advanced Search gives you many options to choose from. Choose as many or as few as you like and press Submit Search.

| A: Make sure you are using the correct username and password. If you are and you are still unable to access the Message Board, please send a message to The Customer Service Department.

| A: If you want to resign from Entertainmates.com, send an e-mail to our Customer Service Department. Please include your username and password in the e-mail. So that we can improve our site, we would appreciate it if you would include the reason you want to resign.

| A: Posting a bulletin on our Bulletin Board is completely safe as long you do not include information that can identify you.

| A: We may be experiencing technical difficulties, please be patient. The Internet at times experiences heavy traffic that causes increased access time on many sites. If you are connecting to the Internet via modem, you may not be connected a the fastest possible speed. Please reconnect.
