I remember the first live concert I ever went to like it was yesterday. My aunts, who are a few years my senior, took me, a gawky teenager, to see Whitney Houston at Radio City Music Hall.
I have to admit I thought she was just "okay" before the concert, but afterward I was a die-hard fan. No recording can truly capture the experience of hearing an extraordinary singer live in concert.
Now I've been front row, center to hear so many great artists and groups that I can't keep count, and truthfully I wouldn't trade the experience of going to a live concert for the world.
