Play Ball!
Those two words are music to the ears of any baseball fan. Why? Because it means that they're just about to start a game of the best team sport on the planet.
As a kid I grew up in walking distance of Shea Stadium, and spent a good part of every summer in the bleacher seats eating hot dogs and rooting for the Mets,
or in some dusty vacant lot with a bat in hand pretending I was at Shea. What a great childhood, what a great sport!
Of course, baseball is no longer just a “great American pastime”. Baseball is played around the world in places as far away as Kazakhstan.
Whether you're looking for fellow baseball fans in hometown USA or anywhere in the world, you can use this website's Quicksearch feature or the
Advanced Search to get you started. You can also post a bulletin on
the Bulletin board so that other baseball fans can find you.
Either way, good luck in your search, maybe I'll see you at Shea.
